Settlement Overview

Government: Although Archduke Geryon Krevi oversees the southernmost region of Arrania where Brailford is located, day to day operations of the town are run and managed by the local Primar, Isan Pasyk.
Defense: Due to the remote nature and small population of the village of Brailford, it is actually quite uncommon to find official Crownsguard soldiers in the town itself. Instead they rely upon a group of former soldiers known as the Last Crusade for their protection.
Commerce: Due to the remote nature of Brailford, there is little to any commerce that runs through the village.
Organizations: Two small temples exist within the village (one to Tyr and a smaller more remote one to Taelia) limits. Beyond the religious groups the only other organization is an informal group of farmers whom have banded together for the betterment of the village.

The settlement of Brailford lies along the western edges of the Worldspine Mountains, in a region known as the Bladeleaf Hills. The farming settlement itself is quite old, however the official recognition by the Krallik of Arrania as a formal settlement did not occur until after the re-establishment of Arrania as a separate kingdom (the Kral Arran using its existence to help justify annexing the northern reaches of the Kingdom of Dartana). The village was founded by a small group of farmers who decided to use the hills in the region to set up a sophisticated series of terraces specifically for grain farming (specializing in rices).
